It's Thursday
Good Morning Carla and OFF Family,
I hope you have a safe trip to Chicago. You drive more than I ever did. You're car probably has great mileage. I remember driving to Michigan from Pennsylvania for Colleen's bridal shower. We had a huge baby shower for her in Pennsylvania, with family and friends.
I am waiting for a call back from Social Security. My check deposit was $300 less than it's supposed to be. I'm concerned. I need than money. When I called there was a 22 minute wait time. I like their system. You can request a call back, and you don't lose your place in line.
I have errands to run after I get dressed. I have some shopping to do, and chores to do. But first the phone call.
Must scoot.
Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning all!
Well today is my 1 year surgery anniversary! This year has gone by so fast. So many changes. I'm down 80 lbs, which isn't as fast as some of you, but for me it's been just right. The other day my daughter Krissy (17 yrs) got a bunch of clothes from a friend who had out grown them and to my surprise I can wear them. Never thought my daughter and I could wear the same size. Only problem is her taste in clothes is very different than mine. Well I hope everyone has a great day, thoughts and prayers for all,
Debbie
Happy Surgiversary, Debbie. You are doing great. I'm not sure where my weight loss was at one year post-op. I only know that the day I had hernia surgery for an incisional hernia I had lost 106 pounds from my day of surgery. That was when I was 16 months post=op. All I know is that as long as we are following the program, with our food plan and exercise, we are doing great, regardless of what the scale says.
I'm proud of you. If you're on Facebook, Friend me. I'm Patricia Anne Reilly there.
Hugs,
Trish

Good morning Carla, Trish, Debbie and all my OFF sistas!
Carla, safe travels! I know you are getting very excited about the impending birth of your grandbaby!
Trish, you sound a bit more cheerful today. Hope you are doing okay while waiting for your surgery.
Debbie, hurray for new smaller clothes! My daughter and I wear the same size now, too, only we can't share clothes either. We have very different styles, except for t-shirts. She is forever raiding my closet for my "best" t-shirts! LOL!
Benny and I got out of the house finally yesterday. We went to Wal Mart. I know--my world is very boring right now when a trip to Wal Mart is the highlight of my week!
It's dreadfully hot here still. So ready for the triple digits to disappear. The rest of the country is getting drenched with rain, but we're still high and dry here. I've got to get out there and water again today. I'm trying so hard to keep my flowers alive, but I'm not sure I'm winning. They are slowly, but surely, giving up.
Butch will be home in less than a week! Whoo hoo! Ask me if I'm excited. The countdown is on.
Well, that's all for me today. Welcome, welcome, welcome to our newbies! You know we would LOVE to have you all post with us today. C'mon! We don't bite!
Love you all!
Good afternoon Carla and everyone....
Carla....you travel more then anyone I know...good for you!! Praying that you have safe travels.
Trish....still keeping you in my prayers that your surgery goes well. So sorry you have to wait so long.
Vickie....I am glad you got out of the house...even if it was to Walmart!! I am going to try to run there today too. I just get so tired out. Guess I will use an electric cart whether I like it or not!! Less then a week and Butch will be home....I am so happy for you!! It will be fun to have Carrie and her friends there soon too. She always makes you so much happier!! My Carrie does the same for me!! I am going down to her home for the weekend. Hopefully she can get my hair highlighted and trimmed! Kyleigh will be doing most all the driving....that will help me so much!
Debbie....you are doing awesome with your weight loss...I am so happy for you!! Congratulations!! My daughter Carrie and I wear most all the same clothes. We are always swapping clothes!! It is so much fun!
I am sure glad I am feeling better today. I think I had some kind of flu for a couple days. It could have just been the pain and medications but I don't think so.
My Nic made it safely to Montana. He is enjoying the Cancer Camp and all the children! He is so good with little ones...lots of practice with Gracie!!
I may try to get over to WalMart at some point today. I need a few things and that is the closest place to go around here. Plus they carry the vitamins I like....at the best price!
That is it for me....so boring I know!!
Wishing you all a wonderful day! Prayers for so many OFF families and friends. Love you all!!
Love and many hugs to everyone.....connie d
